Membership
Duration
When you join
the club you are agreeing to remain a member for the agreed membership contract
Period. i.e. 12 months. Upfront memberships fees allow us as a private
club to commit to the level of investment required in providing equipment and
facilities to the standard expected by our members. By paying upfront you will
benefit from a reduction in overall yearly membership costs. Upfront contracts
paid in full will terminate automatically after 12 months. The Langrove Health
Club will not be liable for any changes in personal circumstances .i.e. Moving
away. If you choose to pay your
membership fees monthly, we will continue automatically take direct debit
payments until the instruction is cancelled directly with the bank. The
Langrove Health Club will not be responsible for cancelling direct debit
instructions.
Notice to
Terminate
Memberships
paid via direct debit may be cancelled at anytime (with a 30 day notice period) after the minimum contract period by emailing
info@langrovehealthclub.co.uk. To ensure that no further payments are taken,
members must cancel the direct debit instruction directly with the bank. The
Langrove Health Club will not be responsible for cancelling direct debit instructions.
How to
Terminate
You must give
written notice of termination to the club to terminate your membership via post
or email. Telephone or in person cancellations will not be accepted due to the possibility
of disputes. All termination notices will be acknowledged by the club via
email. If you do not receive an email acknowledgement within four days please contact the club. Once
membership has been cancelled members are then advised to cancel the
instruction with the bank. The Langrove Health Club will not be
responsible for cancelling direct debit instructions.
Can
I put my membership on hold?
Yes, memberships can be put on hold by giving 7 days notice. It must be put on hold for a minimum of 1 month, up to a maximum of 3 months. If you require a longer period, we would advise cancelling the membership.
Security
Members and
their guests use all the facilities at their own risk and the management will
not be responsible for accidents and injuries unless suffered as a result of
the negligence of the Company or its staff.
The Company will
not accept any liability for loss or theft within the complex, including car
parking areas. Please report all accidents to reception, where a first
aid box is situated.
Emergencies
In the event of
a fire or other emergencies, the staff will carry out set procedures.
Please co-operate with the staff's requests. Members are requested to
familiarise themselves with the FIRE EXITS, which are for emergency use only
and not to be used for normal entrance and exit.
Membership
Entry Code
You will be
given a membership code on joining. You must enter your code on each and
every visit. This is a unique code that is linked to your account. It
must not be shared with anyone else. We will take a photograph to add to your
membership page for identification purposes. The management reserves the right
to refuse admission to anyone they believe to be under the influence of alcohol
or drugs.
Facilities
The management
reserves the right to close any facilities for repair or redecoration, or to
change the opening and closing times according to demand.
Pool
Area
The swimming
pool, sauna and steam room will be closed half hour before closing time in
order for staff to carry out essential services. In the case of any
emergencies there is a panic alarm situated on the wall in the pool area which
when activated will alert the staff in the gymnasium area.
Class Booking
All classes must be booked online via
our website or mobile app (ClubRight). Classes are bookable up to 7 days in
advance. Membership does not guarantee a space in the class. Spaces are filled
on a first come first serve basis.
Disclaimer
I understand that an aerobic, strength
and flexibility exercise, including the use of equipment, is physically
demanding and a potential hazardous activity. I also understand that all
fitness activities involve the risk of injury and even death, and hereby state
that I am voluntarily participating in these activities, including the use
of equipment and machinery, with full knowledge and acceptance of
the dangers involved. I hereby agree to expressly assume and accept
any and all risks of injury and death.
I further acknowledge the
recommendation of The Langrove Health & Fitness Club that I obtain a
physician's approval if deemed necessary by The Langrove Health & Fitness
Club for any participation in the exercise programme specified by the above
named. I accept that The Langrove Health & Fitness Club is responsible only
for providing the programme and coaching I have requested by hiring their
services.
